Third-party software cannot be installed. - When using your Brother machine in Windows 10 S, you must use the built-in drivers that are included with Windows 10 S. Windows 10 S only supports apps downloaded from the Windows Store. (ex: ControlCenter, PC-FAX software, BRAdmin, PaperPort™, etc.) Double click on file setupCRWDriver301PED.exe to install then follow the prompts to install the driver. Open the Brother folder on your desktop and execute the driver by double clicking on Zipped folder to extract the files. Brother Utility Tools and Bundled software are NOT compatible with Windows 10 S. Close all windows down to the desktop once the download has completed. Brother original drivers on the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM bundled with your Brother machine or available in the download page are NOT compatible with Windows 10 S. Some features and settings of the Brother machine will not be available when using these built-in drivers. Scanning may not be available depending on your Brother machine's model or method of connection.
